The show took place at The Outhouse on the
outskirts of Lawrence, KS. The Outhouse is an old 2
stall tractor barn/garage in the middle of a field
that had NO security/crowd control (just the fans and
the band).
This was the best show I have ever been to
period, and I have been to hundreds of shows. One of
the main reasons was because it was the 1st time I
ever got to see Season to Risk. Prong liked them so
much they took them out with them to finish the tour.
Prong was great.
I don't remember the exact setlist,
but they played a couple songs off of Whose Fist, plus
Unconditional, For Dear Life, Beg To Differ,
Irrelevant Thoughts, Prove You Wrong, Contradictions,
and a few others that I can't remember. They also
played a new song for what they said was the first
time. It kicked ass. They never put it out but from
what I remember it had something to do with Planet
Earth or something (it was a really long time ago).
Troy Gregory was playing bass for them at the time.
Anyways, I briefly got to talk to the boys when they
were in the parking lot playing Frisbee. On a side
note, the Outhouse was always the best place to see
shows. It was "anything goes" due to the fact there
wasn't any security, but amazingly, nothing bad ever
happened (except the time Pantera/Wraithchild America
NoShowed and the crowd set fire to the fence outside
the place). Wild Wild shows :-)
