Tommy was having a lot of fun, he was making facial expressions the whole time! I also think 'Rude awakening' was the sixth track! I think 'Initiation' was the second song! They played about twenty songs I think including: disbelief, controller(the last song before Cut rate), Test (before controller), caprice, prove you wrong(which really got everybody singing), Beg to differ, wordly device, Broken piece, 3rd from the sun(!). Later in the show, near the end, they played 'whose fist', right before 'Snap your fingers' THe opening band was Breed 77, who had a hard time getting the crowd going cause nobody knew them or their music! They were really good, it was a shame the crowd wasn't more into them! On a side note bfore the gig I was walking around in Tilburg and got a chance to meet Brian Perry, I talked to him for a little while while he was taking a picture of the church in Tilburg. I told him was gonna check them out in Gent en Vosselaar too this thursday and friday in Belgium. And he asked me to write down my name so he could put me on the guestlist for the show in Gent! he even signed my copy of 100 % live! I'll get the rest of the band to sign it this thursday! How cool is that! Thanks Brian and see you thursday at 'de centrale' in Gent! Overall:' a truly awesome gig!' If anyone else was at the concert reading this, I was the guy on the front row with the really short brown hair wearing a red prong t-shirt I had just bought, there was a guy left from me wearing the exact same t-shirt!
The concert was sold out and the venue was the smallest one I've ever been in. There were people taking photo's! Don't know if they will get published somewhere. There are however some great photo's on the net from the Prong gig at Vera, Groningen 11/22/02! Go to www.vera-groningen.nl, choose "photo's" and then "Prong/Breed 77". [or just click here] |
